the tantilizingly almost realizable,
in the physical and mental universe that is possibly uncomprehended,
and then test through experience the validity of these thoughts.
These months nanifesting the proximity of science and the humanities.
The artist's behavior might be the clue to increased efficiency in the world.
We can make it possible to stay in the universe because of this knowledge.
1. astronomy and 2. philosopical articulation
In the Saturday Review of two or three months ago, maybe at Christmas time,
Hoyle had an article that gave 23 reasons why politics were irrelavant.
Scientists, a few years ago came to the conclusion that if there were planets in other solar systems that were inhabited then probably they were widespread. Are inhabitable planets accidents or are they common. Planets now are being found by radio telescopes.
Let's assume there are hundreds of rnillions of planets.
Then what?
Therefore we should what?
Let's make a simple comparison or analogy.
The maple tree has many seeds and each has a small chance of survival. Yet there are lots of maple trees around.
The percentage of each chemical element in the universe diminishes with higher atomic numbers.
Hydrogen, number one, is the most abundant. . . Helium is second most abundant and so on.
Every local system loses energy.
That's called entropy.
But nothing is really lost, we know better now,
energy in one system only goes to another system,
really we just have transformations.
The new law is called the law of conservation of mass and energy.
We could look at mass as just very high frequency energy.
Radiation is disassociative while collection is associative.
"UNIVERSE" is the minimum perpetual motion machine.
Humanity is a subsystem and a local pattern.
For instance, copper from Northern Michigan in your spinach will make you healthy
while Copper in other ways will kill you as a poison, which is out of phase.
The law of quanta says that when there is a high probability then there are fewer starts; while a low probability of survival means a high number of starts.
In colonial days America's birth rate was high.
Each family averaged 13 babies.
1 and 1/2 percent more girls were born in Serbia for 100 years on the average; and then
after the war this switched to 1 and 1/2 percent more boys.
We have always thought of the Universe as a play that we watched. Now we are a part of it.
Man is essential to Universe.
Someone or thing will carry on universe if we don't.
There must be a cushion factor somewhere.
An exarnble is the overlap between our use of atomic fuels and the waste of our natural fuels.
The big question is: WHAT SHOULD (IS) MAN DOING HERE IN UNIVERSE?
One idea of how to function comes from Norbert Neiner.
He came to the conclusion
"that man is the most important anti-entropic functioner in the universe," about the same time I did.
The earth is a small spaceship.
The equator speeds around at 1000 miles and hour and
the whole planet speeds around the sun at a speed of a million miles a day.
The rim speed of rotation of our galaxy is tremendous and
the speed of the whole galaxy traveling through space is phenomonal.
Non-simultenaiety means that this room, all radiations, all atomic frequencies are non simultaneous.
There is no logical, composite picture of anything.
There is no inherent associability.
Some of the stars you "see" are in your stomach.
but like universe you can take all words and make coherent sentences.
There is no ideal moment, no instantenaiety.
Thought is small field differentiation.
How fast (much) are the total patterns tied in local knots so that they appear static.
On earth (spaceship) it means getting supplies.
Harlow Shapley is associated with the red shift.
Red glow at night is bending of light.
We now know we have an expanding universe because we discovered the red shift far away.
Like the childhood tension experience where we discover that tension straightens while compression curls things up.
Something that always persists.
In the humanities it doesn't mean much.
Mathematics is not generalizable, it's only good for local patterns.
Boolean mathematics is only generalizable with multiplication.
Math people play decent games but they are not generalizable. Many of them are not legitimate or natural.
Entroph to mathematicians.
It matches the fallout and takes up more space. According to Eddington we get 100,000 tons of stardust daily and the earth's weight increases.
The earth's crust has all elements in good proportions.
Making the topsoil took years to get keys to man's survival in the universe.
The sun has Hydrogen, Helium and Carbon while the earth has most all elements in it's crust. It's in the crust or the topsoil where worms, flies and other organisms do things inadvertantly to gain their local advantage.
Automation. Man is all automated.
There are few things we do conciously.
Those things we do do conciously are called design.
All concious thinking is design.
Man has a design capability.

Bees couldn't help but make hexagons because close packed circles take less area than cubic arrangements.
Humans may be unique because we can't prove in concious design.
Dr. Penfield = Patterns of thought in the brain.
Names are remembered on the left side.
All brain behavioral data is easier to explain with mind intellect included with a reflexive brain.
Man apprehending concious patterning of the universe and designing in preferred patterns to increase leverage.
Archaleopgists just go through trash.
In America we're now clean.
Design is pyramiding concious reapprasail of the universe.
We are capturing more energy.
We learn to leverage nature.
Make levers on waterwheels and gears.
The environment does work is preferred ways and finding those ways will make us a metabolic success.
Man makes steam from nature's million years of coalmaking.
We need to live on the income not the capital.
Coal in the ground is capital earning interest which we can spend someday.
Evil is the use of bad conciousness.
Good is good conciousness making savings.
Ecology is total patterns. Ecos house. Ecos college.
The male wolf sweeps out about a 54 mile radius while the female wolf covers less territory.
Man is the only specie to conciously alter patterns.
Evergreen trees and palm trees tend to be found in belts around the earth. The patterns are determined by the shape of the seeds and the power of the wind to move those seeds.
Birds migrate to achieve advantages over microbes. They go south to get food and they go north to raise thier young. They probably followed the ice north to follow this advantage.
Man is the enpowering intellect. Man is designing energy into non-randomer systems and therefore he is anti-entropic.
Employing anti-entrophy in larger sweepouts.
Students and faculty falling in love with something.
All humanity's built-ins are recognized as creating designs only inadvertantly.
We need a cogent inventory and experiment to prove the validity.
Bring your whistles. Ring bells when you fool yourself.

Man is designed to be limited.
Every indivdual sees differeently through the lens of interest and exper3ence.
All atoms plus infinity therefore equal zero
The Universe is purely intellectual.
The fundamental complimentarity is that there is no unity (union implication).
Basically they are two congruent balls or spheres with no differences.
There is no reasoning from simple to complex.
The 92 elements are the generalized prime sharma (from the magazine Maincurrents Science).
Character comes from cross breeding not from inbreeding. There is a heterogeneous or synergetic gain from bringing unlikes together.
On a stringed instrument a half gives an octave while a third gives a fifth. We do no create, we discover.
